Two A&E-focused platforms, now one team

Monograph and Factor have joined forces. It’s an exciting moment for both teams, and an even bigger opportunity for the architecture and engineering firms we serve.

Our goal is to bring together the best of both companies to build best-in-class firm management solutions for A&E firms. That means combining deep industry knowledge, years of product and workflow experience, and insights from both Factor and Monograph customers, with hands-on support and continued investment in helping firms reduce administrative work and run more profitably.

Factor isn’t disappearing, but the future of new product development will be in Monograph.

We’re here to answer your most important questions

Here’s what the Factor and Monograph teams coming together means for your firm, and what you can expect next.‍

What does this new partnership mean for me?

If you’re a current Factor customer

There is no immediate change required. Your Factor account and data will remain in place, and you’ll continue to receive support from our team.

You can continue using Factor, and our team can help you determine whether Monograph is a good fit for your firm and, if you choose to move, when a transition makes sense.

If you’re considering becoming a Factor customer

Our goal is to bring together the best of both companies to continue building best-in-class firm management software for A&E firms. As we work toward that future, Factor is no longer onboarding new firms. If you’re considering Factor, our team will introduce you to Monograph and help you explore whether it’s the right fit.

Monograph is where the combined team is investing in new capabilities and future product development, giving new firms access to a platform that will continue to evolve.

Is Factor going away?

No. Factor will continue to be supported for existing customers, including the maintenance and support necessary to serve those firms.

Why should I consider Monograph?

Bringing Factor and Monograph together gives us the opportunity to build on what customers value most about both platforms.

We’ve learned a lot from Factor customers about how project management can fit naturally into the way their firms work, while Monograph customers have helped shape a platform focused on automation and connecting workflows across the firm, from the sales pipeline to managing client and sub-consultant payments.

Now, we’re bringing those learnings together with one shared goal: to build the best firm management software for architecture and engineering firms.

Do I have to move to Monograph right away?

No. Factor customers can continue using Factor and work with our team to determine whether and when a transition to Monograph makes sense.

What does moving from Factor to Monograph look like?

If you decide Monograph is the right fit for your firm, our team will work with you to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Data migration

If you decide to explore Monograph, our team will review your current Factor setup, workflows and data requirements with you before recommending a transition plan. We will explain what can be moved, what remains accessible in Factor, and what onboarding and training would look like before you make a decision.

Onboarding

Our onboarding team will help firms get set up and comfortable in Monograph before going live. This includes configuring their account, setting up workflows, understanding key differences between Factor and Monograph, and training their team so they’re ready to make the move with confidence.

What is currently on the Monograph roadmap?

We’re continuing to invest in capabilities that make it easier for A&E firms to run their businesses with less administrative work.

That includes improvements across invoicing, reporting, resource scheduling, and accounting workflows, along with deeper integrations with tools like QuickBooks Online. Our roadmap will continue to evolve based on customer feedback and what firms tell us they need most.

What happens to my Factor pricing?

Current Factor customers will maintain their current pricing through their existing term and next renewal. (As of 10/1/2026)

Will my Factor support change?

No. Factor customers will continue to receive the support they do today.

With the Factor and Monograph teams working closely together, firms considering a move to Monograph can expect a smooth and coordinated experience.
