We’re transforming A&E
firm management.

At Factor, we measure success by how much easier we make our customers’ day.

Our story

Factor exists to make the work of running an A&E firm simpler, clearer, and easier to manage. Everything we build is focused on supporting teams in the real work they do every day.

Past

Created to solve real problems.

Factor began inside a custom software development company, originally built for an A&E firm that needed a simple tool tailored to the way they worked and couldn’t find one. As more firms adopted it and shaped its direction, the product grew quickly and became its own standalone company in 2021.

Present

A new chapter built on partnership.

This past year, Factor joined the Total Synergy family, marking an important step in our growth. The acquisition brought together two companies that were already focused on the same thing: giving architects and engineers tools that actually make their work easier. With Total Synergy’s experience and long-term investment behind us, we’re expanding what we can take on to make the product even stronger for our customers.

Future

Moving the industry forward.

Factor is focused on becoming the trusted global leader in A&E firm management software. As the platform grows, simplicity will stay at the core. Our goal is to give teams clearer data, stronger control, and tools that cut through complexity so they can manage their business with confidence.
